Dear colleagues,
On January 26, 2026, the inaugural meeting of the new committee of the Czech Society of Ophthalmology took place. Prof. MUDr. Jarmila Heissigerová, Ph.D., MBA, was elected as the new chair of the society. MUDr. Klára Marešová, Ph.D., FEBO, was elected vice-chair, and MUDr. Marta Karhanová, Ph.D., FEBO, will now serve as scientific secretary.
I wish the new committee success in leading our society, lots of energy, enthusiasm, and good decisions.
